Privacy Policy
Aegis Replay is a browser automation and audit-evidence tool. It records user-initiated actions (e.g., clicks, typing, navigation) and reads relevant page content needed to generate local evidence (e.g., DOM text/attributes and screenshots if enabled).
1) Data we process
- User activity: actions you perform while recording/replaying (clicks, form input events, navigation).
- Website content: page content required to reproduce steps and generate evidence (e.g., DOM state, page text, and optional screenshots).
- Optional BYOK API keys (if you provide one).
2) How data is used
Data is used solely to:
- record steps you initiate,
- replay those steps deterministically,
- generate local audit evidence (reports, logs, hashes, screenshots if enabled).
3) Where data is stored
- Evidence and configuration are stored locally in your Chrome profile and/or exported to your device at your request.
- BYOK keys (if used) are stored locally in your browser profile.
- We do not transmit your browsing content to our servers by default.
4) Sharing
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your data with third parties unless you explicitly export/share evidence files yourself or contact support.
5) Retention & control
You control retention. You can delete recorded steps, runs, and exports locally at any time by clearing the extension’s stored data and removing exported files.
6) Security
We use local storage and local file export mechanisms provided by Chrome. You are responsible for managing exported evidence files and access to your device/profile.
